Mr & Mrs Dub,
The Owners Of Tykie
The Mk2 VW Caddy
The story starts not actually with Tykie believe it or not.
Mr Dub has been a Vdub nut since the 1990s, where his first job was restoring bay window & split screen Vdubs, working on the body work & engines.
It's never really stopped there, lost count how many Dubs he has owned over the years.
Mrs Dub Has also had many Vdubs over the years too from Beetles to Golfs to T25s & a few others in between. She is just as bad as Mr Dub haha.
How did they meet?, well they met via Facebook club West Midlands T25 Club.
They spoke many a time from 2014, but never once met up in person as Mr Dub lived in Wales & Mrs Dub from England. ( Distance )
They both ended up with different partners but kept in touch with each other.
2019 arrived, & they were both single, both decided it was time to have a date & see what happens. Mr Dub came to England & well, he never left lol.
The long story very short, They got married.
How Tykie come about?
Completely by accident. Whoopsie. On a Whim.
Was on Facebook market place just browsing for a small van for work ( Painting Gear ). I showed Mrs Dub This because it was cute, she instantly said we need to go see it, we did, no oil, no water in her, battery was flat, thought oh its going to need a new engine.
Anyway my Vdub club mates egged me on to buy it. I put in some offers, eventually the owner accepted i still wasn't convinced it was a good buy at the time.
Mr Dub went to pick it up, drove it home thinking it'll break down, but she didn't.
Within a week of Bringing her home, as it was already partially converted in the rear, decided it was way too good for work although it was used for a short while, we quickly got to work & completed the conversion to a stealth camper van. Lots of money spent & still costing us a fortune but... we love her dearly.
People started talking about her, looking at her, asking questions wherever we went, So Tykie was born, & here we are now.
A fully converted micro campervan, Fully Mobile Disco & just our daily vehicle too.

Its a growing issue with people suffering from health conditions, Mental Health or general Wellbeing or perhaps All.
We Help & Promote those that are suffering from all kinds of conditions or issues such as Fibromyalgia, Stress, Pain management, Anxiety, Depression & more, in a more natural way, but we also can help many other issues that are not listed here.
We are Certified, Accredited within the Hypnotherapy, Meditations & Mindfulness Cognitive Therapies.
Why do this? Simple really. On a personal level, we Suffer from a few conditions ourselves that we manage, So we know what certain conditions are actually like too & how it can disrupt your whole day, weeks & so on , "we practice what we preach", rather than have medication thrown at you willy nilly, we prefer to do things in a more natural way.
"SKEPTICAL ", "Mumbo Jumbo"? Yeah, I was too to be fair at the start until, I had a third session of Mindfulness & it was then, when it clicked with me & I started to come back to my old self years ago. However years went on, I stopped practicing these techniques as you do, I started to suffer further over time, so I went through it all again & again It helped with all my conditions that I suffer with, It's not a cure, but it helps manage everything to allow me to carry on with my jobs in hand & live my life. Tablets don't cure a problem either.
Anyway, This got me wanting to learn more & more to be able to help others in the best way I can
& not Rip people off, charge the earth for self gain.
Yes we do charge for our time, Same as you get paid for your job, but we do not charge the prices others will charge you, we are fair.
(it's nice to be nice right?) This also helps us to filter out those that say they want the help, but yet, want it for FREE. In reality actually it shows They don't want the help & waste our time too, sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's true.
So I studied & certified as a Mindfulness Practitioner, but it didn't stop there, I had to learn more, so Hypnotherapy interested me along with further Meditations, another 2 qualifications was taken, here I am Today, very passionate about trying to help people in ways that the Health Service simply will not promote or offer that are scientifically proven methods that work, in fact, I myself am living proof.
Long winded, sorry.
So all in all, everything we do with Tykie, the Travels, the Music, the Therapies etc it all comes down to Wellness when you sit and think about it, It all goes Hand in Hand.
